College Nurse
Our client provides a range of Learning Disability, Epilepsy Specialist Nurses, Mental Health and Paediatric nursing as well as therapy to support people with learning disabilities, epilepsy and complex health needs. They are committed to providing high quality person centred support thus enabling people to maximise their potential through learning, leisure and life.
Position: College Nurse
Location: Much Hadham, Hertfordshire
Job type: Part Time, Permanent
Hours: 22.5 hours per week (3 days); 09:00 - 17:00 with 30 minutes unpaid break, flexible to meet service needs
Salary: Level 6; £16.38 - £18.13 per hour (£19,166 - £21,214 per annum)

About the role:
As College nurse, you will be expected to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team using your nursing experience to assess, plan, implement and evaluate healthcare. You will work closely with therapeutic and residential staff to ensure consistent approaches to health care delivery and have minimum 12 months post registration experience.
You will be working 3 shifts per week (22.5 hours), mainly 09:00 - 17:00 with 30 minutes unpaid break, flexible to meet service needs. However there may be occasions where you may be requested to work a shift pattern.
About you:
Our client has a proven track record in providing specialist health support and is committed to promoting the service as a centre of excellence nationally They are, therefore looking for a dynamic general nurse to join the adult nursing team with a proven background in general nursing skills. Specialist Epilepsy training will be provided.
Our clients framework governs that they deliver person centred holistic care providing nursing services to an on-site college and residential home. They also work in partnership with GP’s, Psychiatrists, and Lead Neurologists from both Great Ormond Street and the National hospital for Epilepsy.
As a recognised Investor in People, they offer commitment to your CPD and supportive management. They also offer a variety of staff benefits including optional contributory pension scheme, free parking and a subsidised staff cafeteria.
Informal visits are encouraged and can be accommodated within or outside the office day.
