This is an exciting opportunity to join a rapidly evolving safeguarding team!

 

We are currently recruiting a Safeguarding Compliance Manager to support the Safeguarding Team to deliver our safeguarding strategy, in the UK and internationally. We are looking for someone with a strong background in compliance, audit or risk, matched with an understanding of safeguarding children and young people or a real willingness to learn more about organisational safeguarding.

 

About the Safeguarding Compliance Manager role

 

As our Safeguarding Compliance Manager, you will sit as part of the Group Safeguarding Team and play a vital role in the development of our safeguarding control framework. The role will work closely with the Head of Group Safeguarding and take the lead on devising and implementing due diligence processes, compliance and assurance controls and monitoring of the safeguarding risk register.

 

You will promote and support a working culture in which the safeguarding of children and young people (11-30 years) is at the core of organizational thinking. You will lead and coordinate on the process and practice of donor compliance reporting, with a particular focus on developing a response to DfID, UK Aid and other institutional donors safeguarding requirements.
