Executive Assistant to the CEO
 
Our client provides young people aged 8-25 with high quality services, delivered through a network of 3,536 local youth organisations across the UK. Together they offer support, advice and training to over 1.5 million young people to equip them with skills for the future and help them engage in education, volunteering and employment.

 
About the role:
 
They are recruiting a personable, organised and highly efficient Executive Assistant to support their dynamic CEO with all aspects of her day to day organisation, administration and logistics. You will also be required to provide support to the Board of Trustees.
 
This is an ideal role for someone who is passionate about supporting children and young people and seeking to build up their knowledge of the charity sector. You will use your initiative, sound judgement and drive to provide proactive and reactive support, ensuring the CEO’s time is used most efficiently and effectively. You will be determined, driven, reliable and have a positive approach to your work. You will be tactful, eloquent and able to confidently handle information of a sensitive nature effectively. You will be able to quickly develop a good understanding of different stakeholders and liaise with them in positive and professional manner. The ability to juggle competing priorities, manage diaries and write professional emails and reports is vital.
 
Previous post holders have gone on to work in policy at the European Parliament or been promoted into more senior roles within them, so this role provides an excellent development opportunity for a high energy, ambitious applicant seeking to develop their skills and experience. To succeed you will need a positive, can do attitude, a flexible approach to work and a willingness to work irregular hours on occasion. In return you will be given full access to the day to day running of a leading charity and the chance to attend high profile meetings with government and corporates alongside the CEO. Above all, you will have an interest in changing young people’s lives for the better and providing effective support.
