As their Community Keyworker you will build a warm and trusting relationship with the young people you lead on; supporting them in identify their strengths, skills, goals and aspirations; broadening their horizons through engagement in sports, culture and arts activities; helping them manage challenging relationships and build and maintain positive ones; respond to and support through incidents and accidents; and deliver planned and relevant 1-to-1 keyworking sessions to best support them through their transition to independence.

To be considered for this position, you will be able to demonstrate a good understanding of the issues, challenges and needs facing young people leaving care and how to meet them along with experience of keyworking tools that can be used to support young people in areas including: CSE, DV, EET, life and self-care skills.
