Our client, a leading London university, is currently looking to recruit a temporary Personal Assistant to provide comprehensive and confidential support to the Professor so that the unit is able to achieve its research and educational goals.
This wide-ranging role will provide exclusive and comprehensive managerial, administrative and logistical support to the Professor. Managing diaries of the senior staff and ensuring the Professor is briefed and prepared for meetings, you will communicate by telephone, email and letter on behalf of the Professor. The post-holder will be required to manage the administrative support systems for the department including post, notice boards, room bookings, photocopier, petty cash, monitoring records of absence and ensuring that general supplies are maintained and equipment is serviced and up to date. This role will also involve managing the department's office budget including processing invoices and expenses claims.
The successful candidate will possess strong attention to detail and a high level of accuracy and time management. With substantial administration experience in a fast-paced environment, you will have excellent MS Office skills as well as verifiable PA and office management experience within a HE institution.
