Are you a Database Officer with experience of processing donations and fundraising income?

Prospectus is supporting our international client to recruit their new Fundraising Database Officer. This is an excellent opportunity to embed your skills into a busy and fast-paced role, playing a key part in the overall support of the organisation.

Reporting to the Data Manager, you will provide support to the organisation through processing income including donations, claims, and Gift Aid, as well as having overall responsibility for all database management. The successful candidate will record contact information, donations and pledges, and perform regular database audits and produce regular reports for analysis and evaluation. You will also have the opportunity to use your research skills to identify new partners, as well as attend fundraising events as and when required.

To be considered for this role, it is essential to have previous experience in database management and administration specifically relating to gift, donation and income processing including Git Aid claims, with experience of using a CRM system or fundraising database such as Raiser's Edge or Salesforce. It is essential to have excellent attention to detail with the ability to analyse and interpret information. The placed candidate will have experience of importing and exporting data with the ability to work at a fast pace and to tight deadlines. An understanding of data protection legislation is highly desirable.
