Are you looking to join a renowned and inspirational education and care organisation as a Registered Manager supporting children and young people with social, emotional and mental health needs, communication difficulties? If so our client is expanding throughout the South of England and would love to hear from you! 
 
You’ll be given all the tools required for you to drive our client forward and play a vital role in their continued success. 
 
You’ll be an enthusiatic, inspirational and nurturing Registered Manager managing the day to day running of the new children’s homes, ensuring that all expectations and standards are met, whilst safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, ensuring that the home remains fully compliant with all legislation set out in the Children’s Homes Regulations 2015 (CHR). You will establish and maintain a competent and motivated team, offering leadership, guidance and support and ensuring that company’s policies and procedures are adhered to and all resources are managed effectively.
 
As a Registered Manager you’ll develop systems for the efficient administration of the home and ensure that the fabric of the home, equipment, appliances and grounds are maintained to the highest order in accordance with Health and Safety requirements. You will manage all child protection concerns and complaints, liaising with Local Authorities, Schools and Health and other professionals to achieve best outcomes for all young people. 
 
You’ll have experience at Registered Manager level previously, or be a Deputy Manager looking to make your next step in your career, either way you’ll be well supported by our client’s knowledgeable and helpful team at Head Office as well as other homes in the Group. Experience of working with Young People aged between 8 - 18 with SEMH is essential as is knowledge of children's needs and rights, Child Protection, the Quality Standards 2015 and Children’s Home Regulations. It is also essential you have experience of carrying out administrative tasks, including recording, report writing and rota preparation, a thorough understanding of safeguarding within a social care setting and an awareness of good childcare planning principles.   
 
You’ll need to be able to create inspiring, creative and stable environments for our client’s young people to live and socialise in, as well as inspiring confidence in your team and being able to develop our future leaders. Due to the nature of this role a full UK Driving Licence and flexible working approach is essential.
