Our client has an exciting opportunity within its Land and Communities Team for an Assistant Programme Manager.

Job title: Assistant Programme Manager (North of the Region)
£28,000 to £30,000 per annum
Hours: Full time - Fixed Term for 12 months (covering maternity leave)
Reporting to: Programme Manager (North of the Region)
Location: Sunderland, Gateshead, Northumberland

About the role

Working as part of the Land and Communities Team, you will lead a local project delivery team with specific responsibility for developing and managing a broad programme of projects which benefit the local community. Working with the Programme Manager, the post holder will work closely with the public, private and voluntary sectors so enabling the Trust to deliver its strategic objectives. Operating in a dynamic and diverse environment, the post-holder will support the Programme Manager to deliver the Trust’s Business Plan.

About you

They are seeking someone with enthusiasm and drive to develop further community regeneration projects across Tyne & Wear and Northumberland. You will have experience of developing effective partnerships with the public, private and voluntary sectors as well as having substantial knowledge of environmental regeneration related issues both locally and regionally
