Our client, one of London's leading Higher Education establishments, is currently looking to recruit a Temporary Research Centre Administrator.

As the institution's Research Centre Administrator, you will support the delivery, coordination, organisation and administration of the organisation's research centres. You will act as the first point of contact with all email, written and telephone enquiries for the centre. You will provide key administrative support for research centre staff on all processes relating to preparing, submitting and managing education bids, budgets and projects. Assisting academic staff with the preparation of research proposals, you will be responsible for completing information in application forms and gathering financial information for the office team as appropriate. As the Research Centre Administrator, you will provide crucial project support, including arranging meetings and acting as the point of contact between both internal and external stakeholders along with assisting the wider team with open days other events held by the centres.

In order to be considered for this post, you will need to have experience in liaising with external partners. Ideally, you will have worked in research administration in higher education and have excellent IT and communication skills. With the ability to work independently and proactively, you will have the confidence to deal with a wide variety of people, prioritise competing deadlines and comprehend complex situations quickly.
