We are looking for a Programme Management Specialist to join our client, an international development charity that works to improve the lives of children and young people across the world.

Please note: this post will involve regular overseas travel.

Reporting to the Programme Manager, you will be responsible for coordinating and implementing a major programme in a selection of countries. You will provide technical expertise and support to global teams and work closely with the Programme Manager. The post holder will ensure that the programme aligns closely with the charity's strategy, whilst managing all stages of the project cycle. You will also facilitate knowledge sharing across teams, which will be underpinned by project monitoring and evaluation.

To be considered for this role, it is essential that you have significant experience of delivering programmes with a substantial component on public health, adolescent health, gender quality or youth engagement. A strong communicator, you will have an awareness of international development issues and child protection issues and rights. The ability to manage project cycles and report project updates is essential, as is capacity to build fundraising relationships. The ideal candidate will have demonstrable experience of developing high value and complex proposals and budgets.
