Harris Hill are delighted to be working with the Churchill Fellowship to recruit a dynamic Engagement Manager.

The Fellowship is a life-changing programme of grants that fund inspiring individuals to travel the world in search of solutions for the UK's most pressing problems. Fellows visit the world's leading people and projects in a wide range of practical topics, from healthcare to homelessness, the environment to education and more. They come home with new ideas to make change happen in their professions and communities, influencing practice and policy at local and national levels.

The charity is well-established, prestigious, and now seeks to expand its public impact. This is a new post in their small and dynamic communications team. Joining at an exciting time of innovation and change, this is a fantastic opportunity to make a real difference in an evolving area.

As Engagement Manager, you will help to define a new engagement strategy reaching out to multiple sectors, policy-makers and influencers on many of today's key issues. You will be pivotal in sharing innovative ideas from hundreds of Fellows' research trips around the world and their projects across the UK. You will help to build the charity's presence, influence and networks, by systematically promoting Fellows and staff within key sectors.

You will drive this process from start to finish: researching issues, identifying influencers, spotting and creating engagement opportunities (such as talks, events and briefings), sharing knowledge through a range of channels, and co-ordinating long-term relationships with stakeholders. Working closely with the Communications Director, you will also be involved in launching an 'ideas and issues' section on the website and will be fully involved in a major rebrand exercise.

The ideal candidate will have previous experience of managing an effective engagement strategy, the ability to develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, an interest in researching and impacting a wide range of topical issues, and strong presentational skills in writing and in person.

If you're an 'ideas person' with a strategic approach and creative flair, with an audience-focussed approach and a passion for promoting new ideas and remarkable people across the whole of UK society, then please do get in touch for more details.

To find out more please send your CV to Harriett.Stevens@harrishill.co.uk. I will be submitting applications Monday 8th July, so please do get in touch ASAP to avoid disappointment.
