Title: Legacy and In Memory Giving Coordinator
Reports to: Head of Fundraising
Location: Bristol, BS3 2JH
Salary: £23,000 - £28,000 FTE indicative
Hours of work: 21 - 35 hours per week, across 3 –5 days, flexible by arrangement

Great Western Air Ambulance Charity is looking for a new Legacy and In Memory Giving Coordinator – someone to work within the wider fundraising team, developing and managing our work in these important areas.

2.1 million people rely on us to be there when they need us, bringing the skills, experience and equipment usually found in an Emergency Department, right to the scene of an accident or medical emergency. We cannot prevent the need for our service – people will always need us, and so we need to ensure that our service is here for the next generation. Gifts in wills and in memory giving are a key way of achieving that.

As this is a standalone post, we are seeking someone who has experience in legacy fundraising, someone who is collaborative but acts on their own initiative to progress our work, and someone whose values shine through.

We are a small, Bristol based charity, doing incredibly rewarding work. At GWAAC you see the outcomes of your fundraising – meeting donors, ex-patients and their families, and working closely with the medical crew. What we do is exciting and engages people, it’s visual, it’s time critical, it’s life-saving, and it affects over 1,800 patients a year.

We think GWAAC is a great place to work, and we hope you will too.

Closing date: 9am on Monday 15th July 2019
