The Tun, Edinburgh, Scotland

An expert campaigner you are ready for a new challenge in a role that will develop your talents and have worldwide impact.  That is exactly what we can offer you as a Campaign Manager with WWF Scotland. Our planet is amazing and we want you to help keep it that way!

As part of the team, we will look to you to build a movement for nature by collaborating with colleagues to inform and implement our strategy in Scotland. You will focus on leading advocacy and supporter engagement campaigns, currently covering climate, nature and food. This will involve engaging with our existing network of campaigners and activists, bringing on board new ones, and providing them with the tools and support they need to campaign with us. You will work with colleagues across the organisation to deliver compelling public campaigns to increase our impact and reach. From producing campaign messaging and creating bespoke communications to developing a network of campaigners and ensuring activities are integrated into UK plans you will play a key role in our ambitious strategy to halt the damage to the natural world and restore nature.

You must be experienced in developing and delivering effective campaigns to mobilise the public and influence decision makers. You will have experience in using digital and social media tools for engaging, mobilising and influencing key audiences, and be adept at using CRM software, online advocacy platforms, email builders and CMS.

Highly organised, you will be good at balancing multiple requirements and can deliver under pressure. You will have an eye for detail and exacting delivery standards coupled with excellent project management and communication skills.

A team player, you are adept at overcoming obstacles and can demonstrate an interest in the natural world, and WWF’s core mission too.

Knowledge of Scotland including its institutions, political structures, culture, stakeholders and environment would be an advantage.

How to Apply

If you have a passion for nature and want to be part of the world’s leading conservation charity, we would love to hear from you. Please visit our website via the link and complete the online registration and submit a copy of your up to date CV with cover letter highlighting why you are interested in this role as well as why this role is for you.

At WWF-UK we are committed to creating an inclusive working environment, where diversity is valued and there is equality of opportunity. We therefore welcome applications from all sections of the community and we offer a range of benefits to encourage a work life balance.

Our world needs you like never before. We are the first generation to know we are destroying the world and we could be the last that can do anything about it. We’re looking for people who are passionate about making it politically, socially and economically unacceptable to destroy our planet’s natural resources. We need you to join us in the fight for our world.

Closing Date: 30th June 2019

Interviews: 10th July 2019 in Edinburgh

Company

Best known as the world’s leading conservation body, we’ve seen first-hand how wildlife, the environment and human activity are all interlinked.

That’s why our passion for safeguarding the natural world has to be backed up by other environmental action – tackling the global threat of climate change (through our big global campaigns like Earth Hour) and helping people to change the way they live to ease pressure on natural resources.

WWF is at the heart of global activities in all these areas. We have teams of highly skilled professionals working with governments, businesses and communities here in the UK and around the world.
