The organisation:
An international development NGO
The role:
To lead a team of 7 to deliver the advocacy & policy functions of the NGO – developing and analysing policy together with advocacy work aimed at Westminster, Whitehall, partners in other NGOs and within civil society.
To develop and deliver a robust strategy, with resulting activities focussed on deliverable goals.
To sit on the senior management team to develop and grow the organisation and play a part in developing organisational strategy.
The candidate:
A high quality leader who can bring out the best of the team so that the advocacy and policy goals are achieved.
6 years or more of advocacy, policy or public affairs in an international context including good knowledge of DFID
A strong project manager and able to represent the organisation successfully externally.
