Falmouth & Exeter Students' Union (FXU) is a registered charity and the representative body for all students studying at Falmouth University and the University of Exeter in Cornwall. Working in partnership with both universities, our vision is to help to build a world-class student experience for every student that we represent.

To achieve our vision, FXU has set a clear direction for the next 5 years, working to ensure that all students are able to say four key statements; "I belong", "I am heard", "I am realising my potential", and "I am supported". Our services reflect these ambitions, with our Student Voice, Activities, and Advice departments focussing on making a difference to all students. Our core values of being Inclusive, Collaborative and Empowering run through all our work, and our people strive to be Professional, Caring and Fun in their approach.

We are pleased to be recruiting for our next Chief Executive Officer to move us forward at this exciting time, a unique position that represents a great opportunity to make a real impact. The CEO will be responsible for effective and efficient strategic and operational management of FXU, ensuring the Union adds quantifiable value to the student university experience. As such, the role has responsibility for the delivery of FXU's purpose, vision and values. The successful candidate will be able to provide clear leadership and sustain positive relationships with key stakeholders, ensuring that FXU works within legal and constitutional frameworks and reflects good practice.

The successful candidate for this position will be employed by Falmouth University on behalf of Trustees of FXU. Staff of FXU therefore adopt Falmouth University's HR policies and procedures.

We offer excellent facilities and employee benefits which can be seen on our careers site. These include generous holiday entitlements, contributory pension scheme, and training and development opportunities. Benefits enjoyed by Falmouth University employees can also be enjoyed by FXU staff.
