Job Details

A well-regarded youth-focused charity is currently looking for 2 Senior Events Officers to join the team. The role sits within a highly collaborative UK-wide Events team and will be based in Central London (with regular travel across the UK required).

You will be responsible for delivering a programme of both active, special and supporter-led events, contributing to a significant £mutli-million team annual target.

Specific responsibilities will include:

- Managing project teams
- working closely with event committees to ensure that events are delivered on time and to budget whilst maintaining the charity's reputation for delivering high quality events
- Project managing a portfolio of existing events, running all aspects of delivery including venue identification and hire, sourcing auction items, dealing with suppliers, health and safety, planning and logistics, processing invoices, ticket payments, dealing with delegate queries and ensuring compliance with event strategy
- Offering support on third party events, sourcing new opportunities where appropriate

The role covers both challenge and special events. The charity is keen to see applications from people who have worked in a complex organisation and of having run projects/initiatives that span disciplines and reporting lines. You will be able to prioritise and manage a varied workload, and have experience of delivering success within a target driven environment.
