Salary: £34,000 - £40,633 plus travel expenses of 45ppm
Location: East Midlands Region

About the role:
As Team Manager you will lead a team of operational staff within a service centre ensuring the highest quality of delivery and expert evidence based services to children and families. Working closely with the Service Manager you will promote the work of the service centre both in the locality and the wider area of influence.
The role involves supervising approximately 6 social workers as they deliver 3 therapeutic models of intervention and support to children and young people. They provide a service in Peterborough for young people who have been sexually abused. This can be for up to a year in working 1-1 with a child.
They are currently in the process of looking at introducing a new service to the team which the successful applicant will be the driving force in, how this is implemented and advertised with our partner agencies.
About You:
The successful applicant will need to have the following skills and experience:
- A recognised social work qualification
- Current HCPC registration
- Comprehensive knowledge, practice experience and skills in relation to child protection investigation
- Experience of staff management
- Knowledge and understanding of enabling the participation of children and young people in the delivery of services.
- A full driving licence and access to a vehicle for work purposes
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
