Support Worker
Residential Care or School and Further Education
£8.62 - £10.18 per hour (inclusive of shift allowances – if applicable)
Permanent, all year, term time only, bank, full-time or part-time, various hours available
Based in Lingfield, Surrey
About them
Our client is the only UK charity dedicated to creating better lives for children and young people with epilepsy and related conditions and is based on a beautiful campus in Lingfield, Surrey, providing world class services.
Your role
They are looking for caring individuals to give students the tools and opportunities they need to fulfil their potential and have the best possible quality of life. You will help them to create a caring, supportive and safe atmosphere for the students where they can enjoy learning and social activities. You will work with within a team environment and will have plenty of opportunities to learn new skills and grow your career.
What they need from you
• Enthusiasm to interact and communicate with a range of young people with differing needs.
• Excellent organisational and time management skills and a flexible attitude.
• A strong team ethic.
• Desire to undertake training and development.
Whilst they welcome applications from individuals with experience of working with children or young people, it isn’t essential as they provide all Support Workers with comprehensive training.
