Harris Hill is delighted to be partnering with the Childhood Trust in the search for a new Head of Development.

The Childhood Trust is London's child poverty charity, targeting 700,000 children living in poverty in London. They fund projects that support children and young people to overcome the disadvantages caused by poverty such as hunger, homelessness, stress, loneliness and anxiety.

Their funding supports children from across London and is aimed at engaging the most disadvantaged children in the poorest communities. Since 2013 their matched fundraising campaigns have helped to raise 11.3m for 368 projects, engaging over 170,000 disadvantaged children in London

Working in a small team and reporting to the CEO, the successful applicant will have overall responsibility for income generation within the organisation.

To be successful in this role you will need to have an entrepreneurial approach to fundraising and have the ability to work collaboratively with your colleagues. You will have experience across a range of fundraising disciplines with a focus ion Major Gifts and have previously developed an effective fundraising strategy.
