About the role 
Sense are recruiting for a reliable and motivated Registered Car Manager to join our professional team at our brand new service in Bristol working 37.5 hours per week on a permanent basis; this role will be in a Supported Living Service.

This is a new and exciting role and you will be managing two supported living services supporting young people with learning disabilities and autism that may display behaviours that challenge, who are moving onto their first home. We are looking for creative and supportive people who have a can do attitude, individuals who are prepared to challenge stereotypes and feel passionately about the rights of vulnerable young people to have an ordinary life, doing extraordinary things.

You will support the team to enable individuals to live the life they choose: to make choices, to express themselves and live as independently as possible. Your leadership skills, coaching, team guidance and support will assist individuals to run their own lives as much as possible.

You will be responsible for ensuring that the service is compliant with CQC and is co-produced with individuals and their circles of support to ensure great outcomes are achieved.

About you 
You will need to have had proven experience of supervising and line managing staff, as well as experience of coordinating and planning a range of activities.

You must be willing to work towards a Level Five Diploma in Health and Social Care (or equivalent), or be working towards an accredited award.

The successful candidate will have experience of dealing with challenging situations and of advocating in the best interests of individuals.
