The University of Portsmouth is looking to recruit a strategic and experienced fundraiser to join our expanding Alumni and Advancement team. The post holder will be responsible for devising, implementing and managing the University of Portsmouth’s new fundraising strategy. You will also work to manage the team responsible for developing and nurturing relationships with current and potential donors to achieve or exceed agreed fundraising targets.

The post-holder will be joining the University at an exciting time of growth. Having completed an assessment of fundraising and alumni activity to date and a fundraising study for a major research project, the University is committed to building a sustainable alumni and advancement operation. 

The Alumni and Advancement team build long-term relationships with alumni, other individuals, companies and charitable trusts. The post holder will have responsibility for developing the fundraising capacity of the University and for nurturing and growing our supporter base.
