If you’re a highly-organised professional with the proven ability to deliver outstanding public events, achieve targeted income and participant levels (and you love animals!), Bristol Animal Rescue Centre would love to hear from you! We’re the City’s largest and oldest animal rescue charity and we’re looking for an experienced Events Fundraiser to join our Fundraising and Communications team.

This role is responsible for delivering all aspects of on-site events (including our annual open Day, Christmas Fair, Quiz nights and more) as well as off-site fundraising events (such as charity beneficiary for local sporting events etc). In this exciting and varied role, you will manage all aspects of our events including; research and planning, execution, compliance and participant recruitment, to marketing, promotion and evaluations. You will also be responsible for promoting and recruiting participants for challenge style events, supporting them to reach their fundraising targets and inspiring them to continue supporting Bristol A.R.C. into the future.

You’re a people person and you understand what great donor care looks like, and you’re confident and professional when dealing with people on all levels. You’re focused and calm under pressure, can prioritise effectively to meet deadlines and you understand the importance of accuracy and complying with charity industry regulations.

Salary: £23,460 - £25,000 (depending on experience)

Hours: 35 hours full time, 9am – 5pm Monday – Friday (with occasional evenings/weekend hours)
