We’re the City’s largest and oldest animal rescue charity and we’re looking for a Community Fundraiser to join our Fundraising and Communications Team.

This role is responsible for developing relationships and growing income across a wide range of new and existing community groups including; companies, schools and individuals. You will support, develop and inspire volunteers and community groups to ensure Bristol A.R.C’s community and volunteer led fundraising is sustainable and grows each year in Bristol and the surrounding areas.

This role aims to increase the income of our existing portfolio of community and volunteer led events and activities, and develop new fundraising opportunities within Bristol’s communities. The role involves fundraising through all the usual community channels (rotaries, schools, church and volunteer groups).

We’re looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated fundraiser who can inspire people to raise income for our fantastic and well-loved local charity. You are organised and self-driven and very skilled at building and developing strong relationships and links. You’re confident to get out in our local community and be the public face of Bristol Animal Rescue Centre. Experience of achieving budgets and working to targets is essential, as is a knowledge of fundraising and volunteer management.

Salary: £23,460 - £25,000 (depending on experience)

Hours: 35 hours full time, 9am – 5pm Monday – Friday (with occasional evenings/weekend hours)
