Support Worker

Our client currently has exciting opportunities available for Support Workers to join their Residential and Supported Living Services based in Clifton, Bedfordshire.
They provide support to 9 individuals with learning disabilities, they support them to be as independent as possible, supporting with meal prep, attending medical appointments, trips and activities within the local community and much more. Some of the people they support also access their resource centre located in Shefford.
Position: Support Worker
Location: Clifton View, Bedfordshire
Job type: Part Time & Full Time, Permanent
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, 07:00 / 07:30 - 14:30 / 15:00 and later shifts starting from either 14:00 / 15:00 - 21:30 / 2200; includes working every other weekend on a rota basis.
Salary: £8.55 to £9.00 per hours
Benefits Package: Apprenticeships - gain a fully funded Level 2 Diploma in Health & Social Care whilst earning, benefits package (discounts and rewards across shops, restaurants, gym membership and days out), 20 days holiday (plus 8 bank holidays) increasing to 25 days after first year, contributory pension scheme and life assurance, an Employee Assistance Programme, annual staff award schemes, access to award winning training and development

As a Support Worker with our client you'll be supporting adults with learning disabilities to live the best life possible. In these roles, everything you do will enable people to have choices about their own lives, creating flexible services that meet people's needs and always looking for the best way of doing things.
Full & part-time roles are available, either 30 or 37.5 hours per week. Shifts are on a 7.5 hour basis and include a combination of early starts from 07:00 / 07:30 - 14:30 / 15:00 and later shifts starting from either 14:00 / 15:00 - 21:30 / 2200. The role includes working every other weekend on a rota basis.
About you:
You don't need experience of support work or any special qualifications for this job; you'll get plenty of training along the way. What matters most is your positive attitude to life and your desire to support people with learning disabilities.
