Job Details
The Fundraising Regulator was launched in 2016 to promote good fundraising by charities and to protect the public from unacceptable fundraising practices, by working with the charity sector to ensure it understands its responsibility to donors. A key part of the Fundraising Regulator's work is to investigate complaints from members of the public about fundraising practices. Prospectus is proud to be leading the search for the organisation's new Case Manager, who will play a pivotal role in overseeing and delivering the day-to-day functions of the complaints department.
Reporting to the Head of Casework and line managing a small team of Case Officers, the Case Manager will play a vital role in effectively overseeing the complaints process, responding to individual complaints from members of the public and overseeing any proactive investigations in response to public concerns. The Case Manager will provide significant support to the Head of Casework, continually improving efficiency both within the team and the wider organisation, and will hold responsibility for ensuring that any themes or wider lessons are continually shared across the sector.
To apply for this role, you will be a strong manager with demonstrable experience in a casework or a complaints handling environment. You will have significant experience of investigating complaints, and of analysing detailed evidence and exercising judgement in often complex situations. You will have an understanding of the legal framework in which the Fundraising Regulator operates, as well as the challenges effecting charities and the fundraising process. To apply for this role, you must have exceptional writing skills, as well as strong listening skills, and will have the ability to exercise sound judgement with both tact and diplomacy.
Please apply in the first instance by providing a Word Document copy of your CV - suitable candidates will then be contacted and asked to complete a Supporting Statement.
Interviews to take place Wednesday 3rd/Thursday 4th July
