We are looking for a Senior Financial Risk Analyst to join our client, a charity that tackles global poverty and injustice.

Please be advised that this role is based in Oxford.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, day to day duties will consist of coordinating and supporting multi-country donor audits or high risk audits that take place outside of the UK. You will build and maintain relationships with country teams, supporting them to develop tools to support the audit process and compliance with donor rules. The placed candidate will work with teams within Programme Funding to stay up to day with key donor requirements as well as putting together recommendations and agreed action plans ensuring country teams are in a good position for donor audits. In addition you will provide analysis and support to the International Finance and Operations team, analysing results of audits.

To be considered for this role it is essential to have proven accountancy experience and knowledge of financial accounting, reporting and analysis with experience of donor audits. Strong planning, organisational and reporting skills are required with the ability build effective working relationships with finance and non-finance teams. You will have strong knowledge of financial systems and procedures. Knowledge of charity accounting particularly relating to restricted funds is desirable. The successful candidate will need to be flexible to travel to country offices and remote field offices at short notice.
