Prospectus is delighted to be working with the Fundraising Regulator to recruit a Registration Services Manager as they expand their engagement and registration of fundraising organisations. The Fundraising Regulator was launched in 2016 to promote good fundraising by charities and to protect the public from unacceptable fundraising practices, by working with the charity sector to ensure it understands its responsibility to donors. This is a unique opportunity that will lead on enhancing the process for collecting the voluntary levy and expanding registration of charities and commercial bodies by utilising Salesforce CRM and finance systems.

Reporting to the Head of Finance and Procurement, you will line manage two (part-qualified)finance professionals and be tasked with enabling the Fundraising Regulator to collect its revenue efficiently. As well as day to day operational activity, you will develop and improve systems that manage registration and increase visibility of those signed up to the Code of Fundraising Practice through a public directory. You will develop and maintain the Salesforce applications that allow for robust data analysis and financial modelling. You will deal with queries from customers and help to generate management and financial information.

The right candidate will be driven by data and information and have strong technical skills in CRM systems (Salesforce) and Excel applications. You will also understand their value in a membership or licensing context. You will have an understanding of financial management, have the ability to oversee accounting systems and be able to communicate effectively at all levels alongside a brilliant customer service approach for external stakeholders. The role requires a proactive candidate that problem solves and relishes improving process. Essential to this role is strong leadership and line management ability, whilst a financial accounting qualification (or part qualified) and or a work experience in the sector/regulation and or SORP reporting is desirable.
