My client's a youth charity who offer over a wide range of different programs to over 25,000 young people across London. The activities range from employability , arts, sports and life skills.
Their office is based on a quiet road close to a number of shops and restaurants. It's only a 5 minute walk from the northern line and overground station.
The main duties of the role is to support the Director of People in drafting employment contracts, responding to HR queries and monitoring all sickness on their HR system (cloud-based). Furthermore you'll be dealing with new starters/leavers payroll and putting in place DBS applications.You'll also have the opportunity to work on projects.
To be a success in this position you must be passionate about HR, have strong analytical and communication skills. An understanding of safeguarding would be beneficial.
