Interim Marketing Manager

Prospectus is delighted to be partnering with a leading health, research and awareness organisation to recruit an Interim Marketing Manager for a period of three months.
Reporting to the Head of Marketing, the overall purpose of this role is to work with external agencies to deliver integrated marketing campaigns. You will lead the delivery of their marketing campaigns, working with advertising and media buying agencies as well as monitoring campaigns. You will have the opportunity to work closely and collaboratively with colleagues to evaluate the effectiveness of campaigns using insight tools to ensure they have met the brief. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing campaign budgets across strategy, design and production. In addition the placed candidate will line manage one direct report, supporting their development, ensuring their role and responsibilities help to achieve the organisational ambitions.
To be considered for this role, it is essential to have experience of delivering large multi-channel complex marketing projects including defining audiences, messaging and targets. You will have previous experience of working in an integrated marketing environment either within an agency or in-house. The ideal candidate will have an understanding of working on strong brands ensuring all marketing activity fits with the brand strategy. We require someone with demonstrable experience of working with media agencies on campaigns featuring broadcast, social and digital marketing. You are also required to have experience of marketing research with the ability to build relationships both internally and externally. An understanding of the issues affecting the health and charity sector is desirable.
