Prospectus is delighted to support a progressive animal health organisation in their search for a Global Animal Health Advisor. The organisation is entering an exciting new phase focussed on ensuring a greater sustainable impact for both animals and people by strengthening linkages with human development priorities.

The overall purpose of this role is to lead on and develop a plan for animal health capacity building by partnering with veterinary professionals to co-ordinate and produce a blended learning system. You will have continuous interaction with internal stakeholders and work with a high degree of autonomy. Responsibilities range from supporting and advancing projects to deliver engaging training to monitoring and evaluating the improvements.

To be successful in this role, you will have a strong understanding of animal health systems in low resource settings, possess knowledge of international development needs and have a proven ability to use educational technology to deliver high impact. As a Global Animal Health Advisor, project management skills and being comfortable with designing and delivering training is important. You must also have a RCVS recognised veterinary degree and substantial experience in veterinary education.
