Data Analyst (Monitoring / Impact) 

The Architectural Heritage Fund (AHF) is currently seeking to appoint a Monitoring & Impact Officer. AHF is a leading heritage charity founded in 1976 to help charities and social enterprises across the UK find solutions for vulnerable historic buildings. We do this by offering advice, grants and loans. 

The AHF is about to embark on a number of new initiatives, including the ‘Transforming Places through Heritage’ programme, designed to help revitalise high streets and town centres through the development of sustainable new uses for historic buildings. 

Position: Monitoring & Impact Officer 
Location: London or Home Based 
Job type: Full Time, Fixed Term Contract September 2019 to 31 March 2023 
Salary: £33,000 to £35,000 per year 

Closing date: 17th June 2019 
Interviews will take place in late June/early July 2019 

About the role: 

The Monitoring & Impact Officer role, which is home based or based in London, is to develop and implement effective monitoring and evaluation procedures for AHF’s Transforming Places through Heritage programme in England and help ensure coordination across the organisation. 

The post holder will be responsible for collecting and reporting on data relating to AHF’s performance in delivering the programme as well as the beneficial impact on local communities of projects being developed and delivered by charities and social enterprises funded through the programme. 

About you: 

We are looking for a driven individual with exceptional analytical ability and focussed attention to detail. Candidates should have previous experience of collating, analysing and interpreting qualitative and quantitative data to provide user friendly reports for varied audiences, including an analysis of trends and performance and producing information for inclusion in AHF publications, social media output, reports to funders and funding bids. 

Previous involvement in the creation and implementation of research and evaluation programmes is essential, alongside the experience to set appropriate priorities and meet deadlines. Ideally candidates will have a demonstrable interest in, and commitment to, the AHF’s mission – to help deliver a sustainable future for historic buildings throughout the UK through community enterprise.
