The General Chiropractic Council (GCC), the independent statutory body to ensure the safety of patients undergoing chiropractic treatment in the UK, is seeking to appoint an independent member to its Audit and Risk Committee. This is an interesting and rewarding role for a qualified finance professional.

The independent member provides the Audit and Risk Committee with specialist accounting, financial, risk management and corporate governance advice to enable it to fulfil its role effectively. The closing date for receipt of completed applications is 31 May 2019 and interviews will be held 18/19 June 2019. The role is remunerated at a rate of £300 per day and a commitment of 4-6 days per year is expected, including the attendance at three meetings of the Committee held in central London.
