Our client is a leading children’s hospice charity caring for babies, children and young people with life-limiting conditions, and their families. They currently have 13 shops across London and Surrey and they all play a vital role in helping to fund their care services. 

They have an exciting opportunity for a 12 months Relief Shop Manager to join their retail shop team throughout London and Surrey. 

Position: Shop Manager 
Location: Based in Weybridge with travel across London & Surrey 
Job type: Full Time, fixed term contract of up to 12 months  
Hours: 37.5 hours per week (on a variable rota over 7 days, including weekends and bank/public holidays) 
Salary: £20,604 per annum, depending on experience 

Closing Date: Sunday 2nd June 2019 

About the Role: 

You will be responsible for the smooth operations of shops that are covered at the request of the Assistant Area Manager. You will work cooperatively with their other Shop Managers to ensure management cover for planned and unplanned leave is provided. 

With a proven track record of managing a retail charity store or similar retail outlet, you will be expected to work with a high degree of autonomy. 

Where possible the rota for the shop cover will be prepared in advance.
