Prospectus is excited to be supporting the World Federation of Societies of Anaesthesiologists (WFSA) in their search for a new Head of Partnerships and Communications to build external partnerships and manage communications and engagement strategies with the organisation's members and external stakeholders. The organisation creates huge impact as the experts in the field of anaesthetics, fundamentally on global health outcomes.

Reporting directly to the CEO and working as part of a small but high energy and experienced team, the Head of Partnerships and Communications will lead on a broad spectrum of tasks including fundraising, communications and marketing, events, advocacy and membership services.

This role will involve building and maintaining relationships with a wider range of international and national donors (primarily Trusts, Foundations, Corporate Foundations and Institutions) who might be interested in global health, surgery and anaesthesia, as well as with partner organisations and our member societies. The Head of Partnerships and Communications will also work to shape the key messages of the WFSA and to ensure that information about WFSA's programmes, activities and opportunities is disseminated effectively to both internal and external audiences and help the WFSA to develop its brand and increase recognition globally.

WFSA are looking for candidates with experience in areas such as PR, fundraising, marketing and corporate relations. The successful candidate will have significant partnership management experience and a strong business development background with a proven track record of success. The role will require someone with proposal/ bid writing experience and good communications and marketing knowledge or experience. International experience will be beneficial but not essential.
