Job Details
Are you an experienced events professional? Do you have a background in policy or politics?
We are looking for an Events Manager to join our client, an independent non-partisan think tank focused on urban policy.
Reporting to the Director of External Affairs, you will be responsible for running the organisations events programme, which will include: report launches, party conference receptions, public lectures and policy roundtables. Day to day tasks will include handling event logistics and budgets. You will ensure that a diverse range of views and backgrounds are represented at events to reflect the organisations independence and political neutrality.
To be considered for this role, it is essential that you have considerable event management experience. Highly organised, you will have an understanding of the policy sector and a proven ability to work under pressure. You will be experienced at writing briefings and producing event materials. An understanding of national and local politics is desirable, as is an interest in urban policy.
To apply for this role, please submit your CV online (Word format only); cover letters are not required at this stage. A full job description will be provided to candidates shortlisted by Prospectus.
