Prospectus are working with a charity who create opportunities by offering support to people with learning disabilities with the aim of increasing independence and integration into their local community. Following an internal promotion, they are now looking to recruit a Project Manager to lead their Community Connections team in South London.

As their Project Manager, you will be responsible for leading their Community Connections Outreach Team who provide 1:1 and group support to Adults and Young People with learning disabilities with the aim of increasing confidence and skills to enable integration into their local community. Reporting to the Operations Director and working in partnership with staff and clients, you will lead the team to ensure that high quality, person centred services are delivered to clients whilst adhering to company, national and funder requirements and standards. Finally, you will have a focus on delivery and outcomes, and will be responsible for the overall management and supervision of the team and service as well as managing the budget.

A strong leader, you will have significant experience of working and supporting individuals with learning disabilities in a community setting combined with demonstrable experience of managing a team of frontline professionals. You will possess a full understanding of a person centred approach and how to translate this into practice combined with a full awareness and knowledge of current issues and legislations relating to learning disabilities.
