Job Details
Our clients seeking an experienced professional with the right skills to become an integral part of their North of England Leadership team, as a Head of Stroke Support.
Position: Head of Stroke Support (2 roles available)
Location: Cheshire, Merseyside and Lancashire or Yorkshire and the Humber (office based or home based)
Hours: 35 hours per week
Salary: circa £37,000 per annum
Contract: Permanent

Reporting to the North of England Director, the Head of Stroke Support is responsible for a specified geography within which they strategically lead the activity of the charity.
The Role
The Head of Stroke Support will play a key role in:
- Commissioning.
- Contract negotiation.
- Quality improvement.
- Ensuring all staff and volunteers are developed.
- Developing our clients support services.
About you
The Head of Stroke Support will have:
- Excellent interpersonal skills and an understanding of systems leadership.
- A track record of working to develop a person-centred support.
- The ability to be proactive, flexible with the skills to coach and lead a diverse team.
- Excellent IT skills, with the ability to use data to underpin decision making.
It is optional for this role to be home based, please see our clients homeworking agreement for full details. The use of a car with business use cover and the ability to drive is essential to fulfil the requirements of the role.
