Stewardship Executive - 6-month contract
Our client a leading children's charity have an exciting opportunity for an enthusiastic Stewardship Executive to join their Major Donor Giving Department.
This is a crucial role to support a leading and high performing fundraising team, the supporters are at the forefront of this post and as such need strong team support to back them every step on the way; from identifying key funding opportunities, through prospect research, creating compelling communications and helping them to engage and steward their supporters through means such as events and other activities. This support is vital to ensure we can continue to deliver the ground-breaking services which help thousands of children every year. The Supporter Management team sits in the Major Giving department but serves all high value Fundraising teams.
Through your work, you will be giving donors the opportunity to understand our work and the difference their support makes. And by doing that, you'll help to keep hundreds of thousands of children safe. The Major Giving team is a close and supportive one, with an active social life, based in the heart of bustling Shoreditch.
The successful candidate will have:
- experience in looking after clients or donors and ensuring their satisfaction
- strong administrative skills and be data and process-driven, to enable the delivery of critical stewardship activities to our highest value donors
- proven organisational skills and the ability to multitask/ prioritise workloads, as the role requires you to deal with competing priorities
- and excellent interpersonal skills, in order to consistently work collaboratively with other teams and departments.
