Financial Education Programme Expansion

Part-time: 3 days per week

At RedSTART we’ve been doing what we’re passionate about for the past five years – delivering high impact financial education to young people.

We are a charitable foundation, seeking to expand what we do beyond face-to-face financial education workshops. We want to create a world where teachers, parents, students, and ultimately governments all play a part in educating the next generation, putting young people in control of their financial futures by teaching the importance of money management.

We recently hired a CEO to help begin a strategic pivot to the charity, now we need someone to help deliver and develop upon the partnerships and funding opportunities available. You will be someone who can orchestrate our push towards providing financial education to one million young people by 2025. You’ll be someone who will own their role, someone who will work across a range of fundraising and resource generating activities (developing corporate partnerships, managing major individual donor opportunities, developing grant bids and volunteer programmes).

You will be responsible for developing strategic relationships with commercial partners in financial services (and other sectors) with the objective of generating funds and resources to support the growth of our financial education portfolio, ultimately extending our reach to schools across the UK. You will develop our fundraising strategy for future years and will forecast and report on agreed targets.

We Have:

  • A passion for education and working with young people
  • Enthusiastic volunteers set on delivering top quality education
  • A highly experienced Trustee Board
  • 5 years’+ experience delivering financial education workshops
  • The support of our founding partner, Redington Ltd., who fully supports our goal

You Have:

  • Experience of strategy development, planning, implementation and execution
  • Experience in business development and creating, developing and converting high value prospect pipelines
  • Proven ability to build and nurture effective relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders
  • Ability to package product development and expansion plans into proposals for fundraising ‘ASKS’ to generate income or specialist skills
  • Knowledge to ensure due diligence and ethical fundraising practice is adhered to
  • Ability to produce effective fundraising materials and to represent the charity at events

You Are:

  • Passionate about improving education for young people
  • Self-motivated to help RedSTART hit its ambitious goals
  • Well versed in leading cross-functional teams in a matrix environment.
  • A natural people-manager

You Might Also Have:

  • Experience of training plan development for external use
  • Experience with digital products and channel strategy
  • Experience in developing volunteer quality control/assurance/metrics
  • Experience of delivering financial education to a wide audience

We Offer:

  • Salary: £40,000 (Full Time Equivalent)
  • Excellent benefits package
  • Opportunity to work one day per week from home
  • The satisfaction of helping plant the seed for the financial well being of a generation of school children

If you want to leave a legacy behind that will benefit others, work with an awesome team and have a lot of fun along the way, get in touch. Please upload your CV and click the apply button.
