Strategic Communications Manager

Prospectus is delighted to be working in partnership with a well renown national grant maker to assist them in looking for a Strategic Communications Manager on a six month contract.
You will be responsible for protecting and enhancing the reputation of the Fund. You'll play a key role in the running of our busy press office while also helping to develop and deliver integrated communications campaigns in line with organisational priorities.
You will be comfortable working with a wide range of internal and external stakeholders and will be a key player in helping to ensure our strategic communications activity is well planned and joined up.
A strong and supportive team player, you will work closely with colleagues across Engagement including digital, social media, brand and public affairs. You will help to ensure activity is targeted and fully integrated, making best use of our platforms to successfully reach our audiences.
You will have demonstrable experience within a similar role with developed writing, editing and communication skills. You will have experience with local and national media, building relationships and actively selling stories. You will be line managing one member of staff so previous experience of this will be required.
