Care & Learning Support Assistant (Adults / Children) 

Our client is situated in 68 acres of Hertfordshire parkland between Harlow and Bishop’s Stortford. They support people with Epilepsy and other complex needs from the age of 5 through to 78 in their Children’s Home, School, College, Residential Homes with nursing and Day Centre. Over 150 adults and children call it their home making them an inspirational place to do great work. 

Position: Care & Learning Support Assistant (Adults / Children) 
Location: Much Hadham, Hertfordshire (Commutable from Bishop’s Stortford, Harlow, Stansted, Stevenage & surrounding areas) 
Hours: Full time, part time, casual and weekend positions available 
Salary: £16,466 to £20,643 per annum

About the role: 

Want to work in care but don’t have any experience or qualifications? Do you currently work in care, but you are fed up with travelling from door to door? Need guaranteed hours every week? (They don’t do zero-hour contracts). Looking to turn your experience into nationally recognised qualifications for free? 

They have a range of roles available in their Children’s Home, College and Adult Home all of which support their people to live their lives as independently as possible in their well-equipped on-site bungalows. Our clients teams also assist with leisure activities such as horse-riding and swimming, alongside general domestic duties and personal care. They also offer roles which support their adult learners to set objectives, record progress and celebrate milestones in their College. 

About you: 

You don’t need experience in care to join them – but you do need to be dedicated, caring and passionate about people. Our clients on-site training team will support you to achieve recognised qualifications in Care or teaching support (STLiS). If you’re an excellent communicator with the desire, resilience, patience and motivation to support others they can offer you an incredibly rewarding role.
