Hours per week: Full time hours are 37 hours per week, but applicants seeking part time hours or flexible working are encouraged to apply

Above & Beyond, the official charity partner for the Bristol city centre hospitals, is entering a new and exciting phase of its development. Our ambitions are bigger than ever and we need incredible people to help to achieve these ambitions.

The new role of Head of Philanthropy & Partnerships will play an integral part of unlocking opportunities across our fundraising portfolio with specific focus on our Major Donor, Trusts, Corporate and Hospital partnerships. Sitting as part of the Fundraising & Marketing Management Team you will also have a key role to play in defining the future direction of the fundraising & marketing programme at this exciting and formative stage

A successful fundraiser in your own right, you will be able to lead by example taking responsibility for your own portfolio of key contacts. You will be an excellent and inspiring leader, who can act as coach and mentor to the team at the same time as being an effective manager. You will know how to develop compelling and credible propositions/bids/pitches that bring new and repeat significant support to the table. Alongside this, you will be experienced in delivering exceptional stewardship plans that ensure long term support.  Above all, you will bring energy to this incredibly special role, have the ability to build strong connections and have a passion for your work and making a difference.
