Prospectus is delighted to be working with The Children's Investment Fund Foundation (CIFF) to recruit an Analyst for a circa 12 month maternity contract. CIFF is an independent philanthropic organisation, headquartered in London with offices in Nairobi and New Delhi.As the world's largest private philanthropy dedicated to children, CIFF's mission is to improve the lives of children in developing countries who live in poverty. We support bold ideas for children to survive and thrive, today and in the future.

We are looking for an exceptional Analyst to join our Child Health and Development Team. The Analyst will support the team with excellent research and analysis that will identify sector trends and help scope out future opportunities in line with CIFF strategy and compile information and knowledge resources. They will also take responsibility for the oversight of the end to end grants management process and work collaboratively with the wider team to ensure quality and impact. Utilising a range of sources and relationships, the Analyst will build a broad sector expertise and become an integral part of the team, acting as our database and systems 'super user'.

The right candidate will preferably hold a Masters degree in a discipline relevant to our programmatic areas. They will have a proven track record of analysis or research work, ideally in an international development context, and will be comfortable prioritising their workload in a dynamic environment. This post will suit a candidate who can forge productive relationships with both internal and external stakeholders and who feels comfortable communicating with a variety of audiences. The ability to work in a range of cultural contexts with a high level of adaptation and cultural sensitivity is essential, while knowledge of CIFF's priority geographies, especially through previous field experience, would be a distinct advantage. Please note the role will entail regular travel.
