Head of Individual Giving

A leading international charity is seeking a Head of Individual Giving to be a member of the Senior Leadership team in the Fundraising and Communications department.

The post plays a key role within the organistion's fundraising strategy. At a crucial time this role will lead on the development and long term planning of the charity's largest area of income as it looks at the next strategic phase.

The role will lead the Direct Marketing team, Legacy Marketing and Administration team and Community and Corporate Fundraising Team. The postholder will work closely with other Fundraising Heads of Department to develop and implement a digital engagement strategy.

Skills and Experience required:
- Highly experienced fundraiser with senior management experience and the ability to provide strategic direction, leadership and motivation to specialist individual giving fundraising teams.
- The successful candidate will have demonstrable experience of generating income through digital channels, direct mail, legacies and community fundraising and substantial experience of managing and analysing multi -discipline income and expenditure budgets.
- Demonstrable experience of working in a Gift Aid related income stream is essential, as is an excellent understanding of fundraising compliance.
