Fundraiser (Trusts & Foundations) 

our client is the UK’s largest provider of specialist services for victims of all forms of gender-based violence (domestic, sexual, so called ‘honour’ violence, trafficking, prostitution, forced marriage, stalking and FGM). Every day they support over 6,600 women and children in their national network of services. These include Independent Domestic, Sexual and Gender-based Violence Advocacy services (IDVAs / ISVAs and IGVAs), community outreach, specialist accommodation, sanctuary services and culturally-specific services and the Freephone 24 Hour National Domestic Violence Helpline (run in partnership between our client and another charity). They advise Government and lobby hard to keep violence against women and girls high on the public agenda. They run award-winning prevention and public education campaigns, managing a busy press office and website, and they are an accredited training provider. They give a voice to the voiceless. 

Position: Trusts and Foundations Fundraiser 
Location: Head Office, London 
Job type: Full Time, Permanent 
Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 9:00am to 5:30pm 
Salary: £26,271 per annum

About the role: 

This is a fantastic opportunity for a motivated fundraiser with excellent organisational skills and a proven track record of writing compelling cases for support. The post will join the passionate and dynamic fundraising team for our client, and support the goal of creating a world where violence against women and girls (VAWG) is not tolerated. 

They are happy to consider candidates looking for part time and flexible working hours. 

Responsibilities: 

The post holder will generate income from trusts and other grant givers by managing a portfolio of small and medium level gifts, effectively stewarding and growing year-on-year relationships. 

This role will join the Trusts and Foundations Manager in implementing our client’s trusts and foundations fundraising strategy and help achieve on its ambitious target to increase multi-year, sustainable income. 

About you: 

You will need to have proven experience of writing persuasively, and experience of trusts and foundations fundraising is preferred. You will have a firm grasp on managing pipeline or projects using Microsoft Office and / or databases, and have outstanding organisational and administrative skills. 

With the ability to write creative and compelling cases for support and applications, you will be confident working in a busy office environment, managing a range of tasks.
