Job Details

Our client is looking to recruit a dynamic and enthusiastic Fundraising Assistant to work within their team.

Salary: £16,380 - £18,933 Per annum

Location: Birmingham

Vacancy Type: Permanent

Working Hours Per Week: 35

Closing Date: 31 May 2019

About the role

These are challenging but exciting times for the voluntary sector, yet our client knows that in this climate children are at greater risk of abuse. Everything they do protects children today and prevents abuse tomorrow, to transform society for every childhood. That’s what drives all of their work.

Our client’s fundraising department exists to help volunteers give time, money and leadership to fulfil this mission and they are looking to recruit a dynamic and enthusiastic Fundraising Assistant to work within the team.

About You

You will be responsible for delivering first rate stewardship and administrative support to ensure the smooth running of the Regional Community Fundraising team. Supporting various members of the community fundraising team, including volunteer fundraisers, supporters and the public, making them feel valued at every point in their fundraising journey. Occasional additional hours/out of office working may be required to support local fundraising events from time to time.

As a self-starter, you will be a confident team player and organised people person. You’ll possess a “make it happen” approach and won’t be fazed at delivering multiple tasks concurrently. This important role will give the successful candidate a fantastic experience of working as a part of a high performing, friendly fundraising team.

You will possess good communication skills, both written and verbal and will be highly organised and able to manage a demanding workload, prioritising tasks effectively. You will also have excellent IT skills (Microsoft office packages), have admin experience and be able to work flexibly and as part of a team.
