My client is establioshed health Charity, devoted to providing high quality care. Based in London my client is seeking an established Senior Digital Marketing Officer to lead on digital marketing campaigns across channels & website management.

Description

The key responsibilities for this Senior Digital Marketing officer based in London are:

  • Act as Digital lead for integrated marketing & communications programmes and initiatives.
  • Working in collaboration with the Digital Marketing Officer Social Media Officer and other stakeholders
  • Lead on email communication for quarterly emails, transactional emails and occasionally other emails.
  • Support the Social Media Officer with the social media content planning, review and paid activities
  • Support the Social Media Officer in the management of our social media channels when required (e.g. during social media influxes), generating content, responding to comments and helping to plan and implement social media initiatives.
  • Support the Digital Marketing Officer with website updates and landing page creation, drafting copy and/or editing supplied copy.
  • Support in the development, implementation and evaluation of SEO, including Google Ad Grant campaigns in house and through agencies.
  • Act as the website Editor in the absence of the Digital Marketing Manager, and potentially on other ad-hoc occasions, including reviewing/approving copy & changes
  • Support with Google Analytics and other tools to measure, analyse and report on the digital impact of projects and integrated marketing campaigns and programmes.
  • Profile

    The successful Senior Digital Marketing Officer will:

  • Qualified to degree level (ideally digital marketing related) and at least 4 Years of experience in digital communications and marketing, in a similar role, ideally within the charity sector.
  • Demonstrable experience of leading the development and delivery of integrated campaigns and innovative communication strategies using digital marketing channels.
  • Demonstrable experience in the use of social media for professional use, e.g. Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, LinkedIn and social media management tools.
  • Experience of acting as an Editor/Deputy Editor within a social media and web context.
  • Demonstrable experience in website management and use of CMS (preferably Drupal)
  • Demonstrable experience in managing email marketing campaigns and use of email marketing software.
  • Demonstrable experience in cross departmental working and stakeholder management.
  • Ability to plan well, work to deadlines, prioritise tasks and cope with pressure at times and work on own initiative
  • Able to juggle hands on delivery and reviewing work of others.
  • Strong written communications skills, with demonstrable experience of writing content for digital channels and reviewing content drafted by others.
  • Keen attention to detail.
  • Good analytical skills, including Google Analytics. Highly numerate with good data analysis/ insight skills and experience preparing reports to build understanding of user behaviour.
  • Demonstrable previous success with SEO/PPC and setting up /developing Google Ads
  • Understating and ideally, experience of UX strategy and design principles
  • Excellent knowledge of the Microsoft Office suite essential and experience in Photoshop an advantage.
  • A proactive, flexible and friendly manner, with an ability to build strong, mutually respectful relationships with internal colleagues and external partners, as well as good team working skills.
  • Willingness to travel internationally on occasion

    The is a permanent role based in London paying up to £35,000 per annum + additional benefits. My client is from the Not for Profit and Charities sector which would be advantageous but not essential.
