This fantastic medical charity are looking for an experienced PR professional to come and join them to cover for a maternity leave. Within this role you can look forward to developing and implementing the PR and Comms aspects of the charities marketing and communications strategy. Line managing a team of 2, you will be leading the busy press office and managing their proactive and reactive PR activity for the charity. You will be managing the PR content calendar and work with key stakeholders around the sector and within the media to effectively promote the charity. Further to this you will also oversee the celebrity engagement, public affairs and corporate communications for the charity.

The ideal candidate will:

  • Be an experienced PR/Media professional
  • Have strong experience in proactive and reactive media relations
  • Have a strong writing ability
  • Have some line management experience
