Events Fundraising Manager (Maternity)
35 hours per week | Fixed term contract (maternity) – 15 months
Join Mind's innovative and ambitious Events Fundraising team at a time of growth and development and help raise over £6m so we can be there for more people with mental health problems.
We are looking for an individual who is enthusiastic and highly organised with a strong attention to detail and ability to lead and motivate teams. You need experience of working across multiple and varied projects, achieving targets and building relationships with internal and external stakeholders at all levels.
The Events Fundraising Manager will be working closely with the Head of Community & Events Fundraising Marketing & Innovation to review Mind's current active challenge event portfolio, building upon successes and exploring new opportunities as part of the short and long term strategy.
You will have relevant experience in fundraising event management in the charity sector with a track record of meeting income targets and generating new income. You will also have strong negotiation and interpersonal skills, be an excellent organiser with the ability to work to tight deadlines and manage budgets, and have experience of line management and leadership.
