Prospectus is delighted to be working in partnership with Moorefield's Eye Charity as they embark on a new and exciting phase of growth, to recruit their new part time Finance assistant, who will play a pivotal role in providing support for the fundraising teams . They are looking to welcome driven and skilled professionals to join them for this exciting new opportunity at the charity.

Supporting the Finance officer, the Finance assistant will work closely with the fundraising teams to ensure all income is recorded accurately and processed in a timely manner. The successful candidate will demonstrate a strong understanding of preparing bank reconciliations and managing direct debit information, including knowledge of analysing large volumes of data.

Reporting to the Finance officer, the Finance assistant will be a strong problem solver with experience of accurately handling and processing large volumes of data with the ability to work under pressure and to deadlines. This role offers an excellent opportunity for an individual looking to make their mark at a pivotal time for this well respected charity. Knowledge of Gift Aid is essential for this role, as well as proven experience of working with complex databases. Ideally you will be AAT Qualified and have experience of dealing with restricted, designated and endowment funds.

Please note, this role will be 4 days a week.
